Rachel Rose’s most recent collection, Marry & Burn, received a 2016 Pushcart Prize, and was nominated for a Governor General’s Award. In 2017 she published a memoir, The Dog Lover Unit: Lessons in Courage from the World’s K9 Cops, and an anthology, Sustenance: Writers from BC and Beyond on the Subject of Food, a community effort to support local farmers, refugee and low-income families through the Farmers Market Nutrition Coupon Program.
